Xaar — Privacy Policy

The Xaar app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking in the app.

All network traffic stays on your local network: the app receives a screen-mirroring stream from a device you control and can optionally send audio to speakers on the same network. Nothing is sent to the developer or to any third party.

The waitlist form on this site is separate from the app: the email address you submit there is stored only to add your Microsoft account to the app's limited release and to notify you about it, and is not shared with anyone.

The contact form on this site sends your message, email address, and optional name to the developer as an email. They are used only to reply to you and are not shared with anyone.

This website uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see which pages are read and where visitors come from. Until you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit, it runs without cookies or identifiers and sends Google only coarse, non-identifying signals such as the page viewed, your browser type, and your consent status. If you accept, it also sets analytics cookies and sends usage data — pages viewed, browser and device details, and an approximate location derived from your IP address — to Google, which processes it under Google's privacy policy. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is stored in your browser, and you can change it at any time via "Analytics settings" in the page footer.
